St. Patrick's Day 2008
Another busy performance schedule for both Christopher and Courtney during St. Patrick's Day performing with their dance school, Tir Na Greine. Courtney and Christopher are part of the schools public dance troop. Several new routines were added this year. You can see Courtney dancing in the videos below. Pictures are from the Winter Park Florida St. Patrick's Day festivities.

Beoga Reel The was a brand new song this year based on a Reel from Beoga's CD A Lovely Madness. The song started with Bill Harte's/ Blue Eyes/ A Lovely Madness but I cut out the last half of the song which contained a reel. The reel that was left had to slowed down from 124 beats per minute to 116 beats per minute so the kids would not kill themselves. Beoga is made up of the same group of musicians known as the the Bradley Brothers who produce many Irish Step Dancing Practice CDs. |
Celtic Funk This is actually based on a song called Ceilli Funk but we have always called it Celtic Funk and it has stuck. This has been in the schools show routines ever since Treasures of Ireland but it has evolved over the years. |
